The symbol of ST. JOHN is the eagle, because from first to last his Gospel soars on eagle's wings to the very throne of heaven. The figures near the bottom of each window are merely decorative.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it. There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. This man came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all through him might believe. He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. That was the true Light which gives light to every man coming into the world. He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him. But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. (John 1:1-14, NKJV).

Jesus said, “Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet returned to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them, ‘I am returning to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’” (John 20:17, NIV).

This is the disciple who is bearing witness about these things, and who has written these things, and we know that his testimony is true. Now there are also many other things that Jesus did. Were every one of them to be written, I suppose that the world itself could not contain the books that would be written. (John 21:24-25, ESV).

Hi guys and gals!

New to Tribe, and I've just posted some photos here which combine the two great loves in my life - Cadillacs and Shawn Harvey, singer-songwriter (roots, country & western, rock 'n' roll, rockabilly, blues etc)

somebody reported my car as an abandoned vehicle and the city tow her away, i thouhgt she'd been stolen. when i reported it the cops said she was impounded and i would have to pay the towing and storage fees by the 23rd or they would sell her... I don't have a job right now and the total fees and B.S. is $1295.78. those FUCKERS are gonna sell her and make me pay for any uncovered amount after the sale, which includes the price of putting on the sale. they shouldnt have taken her in the first place, but i'll have the last laugh.... I have a detatchable steering wheel and stero face plate, both of which are sitting right here. so to the city of stockton i say "SUCK MY SEVEN AND A HALF, AND WATCH THE TEETH BITCH!!!!!!!!!!!"

Getting rid of it by next week, I hope. Looking into buying a Saturn. Anyone interested in bidding on the Taurus? Will keep you posted; pretty sure I'll get a call back from the guy who's selling the Saturn--manual trans, no one wants those. So awesome to shift the gears manually. I used to pretend I was flying a spaceship when I had my first (and up to now, last) stick shifting vehicle.

Taurus-standard trans, automatic. White with really dark tinted windows. has potential for air conditioning. Did work great when it worked, before the motor blew. Newer motor, has less miles than the odometer shows. Looks real cool, will miss it. 6 cylinder, not too bad on gas. Heat is hot. '16 tires.
